1. Free In-Home Estimate

2. Diamond-Grinding

3. Crack Repair

Any cracks are filled with a flexible filler designed to move with the slab’s natural seasonal expansion and contraction, rather than a rigid patch that just cracks again.

4. Moisture Testing

We test at multiple points across the slab using calcium chloride or RH probe methods, not a plastic sheet guess. Full details in our moisture testing guide. If your slab tests high, we’ll discuss mitigation options before moving forward.

5. Base Coat and Decorative Broadcast

We apply the base color coat, plus any flake, quartz, or metallic broadcast for your chosen finish, precisely mixed to manufacturer specifications.

6. Topcoat

A UV-stable polyaspartic topcoat seals everything in, resisting the yellowing that a straight epoxy topcoat is prone to over time in sun-exposed spaces.

7. Final Walkthrough and Warranty

We walk the finished floor with you, answer any questions, and hand off your written warranty before we leave.

How to Prepare for Your Installation

A few things to handle before we arrive make the day go faster:

• Clear the space. Move vehicles, storage, and any loose items off the floor. We handle the floor itself — not moving your belongings.
• Plan around the cure time. Once the topcoat goes down, the space typically needs to stay clear of foot traffic and vehicles for the remainder of that day at minimum. We’ll give you an exact window for your specific system.
• Expect some odor. Both epoxy and polyaspartic have a noticeable smell during application that clears within a day or two. If anyone in the home is sensitive to strong odors, plan to be elsewhere during application.
• Outdoor jobs depend on weather. Patio and porch coatings need dry conditions to cure properly, so we’ll schedule around Charleston’s forecast and reschedule if rain is likely during the critical cure window.
